Member Registration
Register as a member of Gowealthy.com to avail of our Property Swap - Exchange services. At present, registration and activation are free.
Gowealthy.com welcomes all individuals and companies who wish to swap their properties. They could be private property owners, investors, property brokers or organizations. Right now, our swap services apply to properties in the UAE.
We allow RERA-approved property agents to register properties for swaps on behalf of their clients. During the online registration, agents should specify that they are agents. Currently, registration and activation are free. This is a promotional offer available for a limited period. Other agents may reach us at swap@gowealthy.com. Agents will be interacting with our representatives directly.
Adding Information
When you are listing properties for property swaps on Gowealthy.com, please ensure that adequate information is given, so that other members can get a good idea of the listed properties. Also it is your responsibility to ascertain that the property you select matches all your possible requirements. Gowealthy.com offers you useful tips to verify the suitability of an exchange for a successful swap, but we do not guarantee, either expressed or implied about the information provided. The information included in the property and personal profiles on this website is provided by our members. We cannot completely guarantee the accuracy of the information provided.
Conditions of Uploading Property
Once you have uploaded a property along with description and images, it will be reviewed by our experts before its online publication on Gowealthy.com. Members must keep their property and personal profiles updated on the website, including details of any alterations and improvements to properties. Members should treat their exchange partner's property and belongings as they would treat their own, and expect them to do the same. The property must be presented in a clean, comfortable, warm condition to the incoming exchange guest. Our trained consultants will assist in your inbound exchange of properties.
Swap Contract
When 2 parties agree to a swap, a Swap or Exchange contract is drawn up between them. Gowealthy.com facilitates the swap and guides the two parties till the completion of the swap. We provide property profiles, member profiles and a messaging system to our members. Any contract you enter into is with the owner of the property concerned and does not involve Gowealthy.com.
Once the exchange is executed, Gowealthy.com is entitled to 1% of the property value from both parties as service fees.
Services & Funds
Membership to the Gowealthy Property Swap Community is valid for 6 months from the date of activation. The members are entitled to the following benefits:
- A property profile page
- A personal profile page with wish lists
- A personal messaging system (Members may contact through Gowealthy.com to arrange property exchanges. Gowealthy.com does not publish or give out any personal contact details or full address details of your property on our website. We exercise greatest discretion possible and treat such details confidential)
We may utilize the data you provide to send you information with special offers of interest to you, by email, post and text. When you list your property on Gowealthy.com, you are permitted to swap with any other member in the community.
Once the exchange is executed, Gowealthy.com is entitled to 1% of the property value from both parties as service fees.
Members may upload a number of properties and partake in as many swaps as they like during the 6 months of membership. If a member is unhappy with a swap they partook in or failed to make a swap during membership period, they will not be entitled to a refund of the service fees from Gowealthy.
Quality Standards
Homes in the UAE adhere to very high standards; however ‘quality’ varies from property to property. We do not offer “like for like.” You can have any size of property or plot, in any location on any date, assuming it is available on Gowealthy.com. Moreover, you may exchange a property for a plot of land and vice versa. There is no restriction on the type of property/ land swapped. The responsibility of choosing a property/ plot that meets your expectations is entirely on you. This gives you maximum freedom of choice without restrictions. In the unlikely event of the owner failing to maintain his/ her registered property to a good standard, then the property and the owner will be removed from our database.
Precautions
Every property and land plot is different. The Standards vary enormously according to local and domestic conditions.
If you are still dissatisfied and decide not to occupy the property after the exchange, then neither the property owner nor Gowealthy.com has any liability to provide you with alternative accommodation, unless they have provided grossly misleading information.
However we always welcome any feedback on your property exchange. We understand that things may go wrong sometimes, so we will always try to help if it is within our control. Members agree that Gowealthy.com shall not be held accountable for any direct, indirect, consequential or other damages whatsoever, regardless of the form of the claim, including but not limited to liability for cancellations, injuries to persons or damages to property, including cars or vehicles.
This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. The Gowealthy Property Swap members agree to be responsible for any/all damages which might accidentally occur during their stay in a property. Any member failing to honor this commitment, in a manner satisfactory to all concerned, loses his/her membership of the community. We depend on the integrity of members and do not guarantee the accuracy of the information provided herein, condition of the homes before or after an exchange, nor conduct of the members or users of the information in this website at any time, nor that an exchange will be available.
Refusal of Property
We reserve the right to refuse to accept any property. We do this if we think the property is unsuitable or if we already have too many of that type of property in the specified location.
Membership Termination
Membership to the Gowealthy Property Swap Community is valid for 6 months. He or she will be notified 2 weeks in advance by the webmaster when his or her membership is up for renewal.
The member must notify Gowealthy.com if he/ she no longer wishes to be a member so that his/ her property can be removed from the website. Gowealthy.com reserves the right to remove anyone from membership at any time. Should any information provided by members be found to be grossly misleading, Gowealthy.com reserves the right to remove, at our discretion, any listing at any time. Members undertake not to upload material which infringes copyright law; they must refrain from reproducing listed data on any other website.
Sale of swap properties
The Gowealthy Property Swap Community is an exclusive members’ club that is maintained solely for the benefit of its users. The onward sale of properties to third parties for commercial gain of any exchange arranged through Gowealthy.com is specifically prohibited. Members found doing this will be removed from membership. If a family member other than the registered member is partaking in the exchange, this must be made clear to your exchange partner when initial contact is made.
Cancellations
Members should try, by all means, to avoid cancellations but these are sometimes unavoidable due to unforeseen circumstances. If one party has to cancel, then a new date should be arranged with the other member at the earliest convenient date for both parties. In the event that a member is unable to make the exchange due to a cancellation of an already organized swap, that member shall not be charged with service fees by Gowealthy.com out of goodwill. The owner can take whatever action is legally available to him to recover any expenditure incurred due to a cancellation by the other party. However, Gowealthy.com cannot become involved in any legal action taken; this must remain between the owners. Gowealthy.com will immediately terminate membership if it is proved that a member is abusing the system through cancellations. |
